Pet Paw Christmas Stocking – Fat Quarter Friendly!

Hey! This week I drafted 4 different versions of this stocking trying to get it just right – the first came out absolutely gigantic! Would have taken a bank loan to fill it with gifts. I’m adding a large version and a fat quarter friendly version so you can decide which is best for you.

I’m making these this week because I received an email from a lovely lady asking for clarification on a few things I did in my original paw stocking here on the blog. When I went back and read it, I was so confused by methods I used way back when. So I figured it was time for a revamp! Thanks to Heddybelle for the push to get this updated!

For this one, you’ll need the template of your choice:

Extra Large Size

I used our textured blender in white for the main fabric.

The lining is a beautiful poinsettia print. It may seem odd that I used the pretty fabric on the inside, but, in my opinion, it looks so pretty when constrated as the pad sections on the outside.

I used a 2oz wadding, which comes in 150cm wide lengths, so you get lots for your money! It works great in stockings and I don’t recall ever using anything else in them over the years.

Anyway! I’ll let you get to it. Here’s the video. Enjoy.
